One size does not fit all and I use a variety of methods such as cognitive/behavioral therapy, psychodrama and other experiential approaches. Mindfulness meditation and exploring spiritual aspects of life are integral parts of my practice. I have a passion for working with mental health & addiction issues and the impact on families.
I welcome the opportunity to do second stage recovery;therapy that helps people explore deeper aspects of past trauma and current life troubles after sobriety is in place. I have experience counseling medical and legal professionals with substance abuse and mental health issues and teach Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention.
